A LITTLE PACKAGE FROM JAPAN

Oh, it has been a looooong week.  Everyone in my house has been sick.  Well, not our cat Hannah, but that's the only exception.  I am still under the weather but I think I will be feeling 100% again by Monday, fingers crossed.  Thank you to my understanding clients!  It's not easy being sick *and* taking care of a sick little one home from school in the tail end of the busy season.  Nevertheless, I have many, many things for which to be grateful. [Insert clever segue of someone not delirious on DayQuil here.]

Today I picked up my camera for the first time in a week, but only to photograph a non-moving object. :)  We got a tiny shipment from Japan this morning, and it undoubtedly just made it through customs for nearly exceeding the legal limits of cuteness.  Since my daughter started pre-K in the fall and has been taking her lunch every day, I've been bemoaning the wasteful plastic baggie use going on.  Solution? A little Tupperware from Target?  Um, no.  I gotta be me, folks.  Bento boxes from Japan!  Cutest. Things. Ever.  We didn't exactly have a full refrigerator this week since we were shut-ins, but we played around this afternoon with what we had available--a little pre-Monday school lunch practice/Friday afternoon snack.  You can imagine that M's is the one with popcorn. Voila.  No more plastic baggies, and a good chance of mixing in some veggies soon and hoping that the little miss eats them simply because there's a cute little fork in them. Fingers crossed! :)

And now, prepare yourselves.  Seriously.  Can you stand the cuteness? Little soy sauce and mayo/catsup holders. What a bright little end to the week. :)  Have a great weekend, all!  It's the first weekend in 10 weeks that I haven't had a shoot, so there's no telling what trouble I might get into. ;) (and a p.s. to my photographer friends--how do you like those tomato catchlights? LOL!)

THE CUTENESS CONTINUES . . .

I know I said that I had a lot of city babies in November, but who knew they would all be baby model material?  Isn't Miss S. beautiful?  It was lovely meeting you, S. and J.  Welcome to Philadelphia!

I know that mom loves b&w and there will be more of those in the gallery, but I had to do some color on the blog! Anyone who knows me knows that I was in love with the polka dot pants and rug! (and p.s. to mom--we got lots of smiles!)

THE BLUEST EYES

Don't these two have the loveliest eyes?  I had the pleasure of meeting little T. and sister C. on Friday.  We started in the snow, but Miss C. would have none of it, so we moved inside.  Could you refuse this sweet little face?

Enjoy your sneak peek, K.!  More to come soon.

JUST FOUR MONTHS OLD

This weekend I met sweet Miss M. and her clearly-smitten parents.  And who wouldn't be smitten with this adorable little one?  Just the hair alone--gorgeous!  Thanks, R. family!  Here's a little sneak peek for you.

A LITTLE EXTRA PEEK

This gallery will be ready tomorrow (keep checking your e-mail, K!) and I have just loved editing it.  These little twins stole my heart.  Here are a few more peeks at their session.

The image on the right is priceless.  What a foreshadowing of the exclamations of "Mom, Dad--don't kiss!!!" to come. : )
