This family and I have had the worst luck with rain, but Miss S. has a smile that is pure sunshine.  What fun to see her again and to see how she's grown.  Thanks, S. and D., for being so understanding about our weather woes! A little sneak peek for you . . . .

This sweet little guy had one of my favorite kinds of smiles--I call it the "full face smile."  Who could resist such cuteness?

Come to think of it, though, he's pretty darn adorable with the pursed-lip smile too! Thank you so much for coming all the way out to Bryn Mawr, L. family!  It was so wonderful to meet you at last! :)

My love affair with the rain has lasted my entire life, but after this October we are officially on the outs.  I have lost track of how many sessions have had to be postponed at this point!  A big thank you to my understanding, flexible clients (and a really big thank you to the clients who did have a session in the rain on Saturday and those who were rained out at the last possible moment!).

Thankfully the sun shone down this Sunday and I was able to complete oodles of rescheduled holiday mini-sessions and full sessions. Let the sneak peeks begin!

First up are the L. family--what a treat to see them again and to see how their girls have grown!  And yes, we did capture them together--mission impossible!--but I'm saving it for the gallery! : )

Now for a few "housekeeping" notes . . . there are currently two weekday morning Main Line sessions left before our guaranteed holiday delivery deadline.  That's right . . . we are probably a day or two away from "no more room at the inn."  Thank you to my wonderful clients as always for a great 2009!  There is availability in early December, though these images will be delivered in January.   Finally, if you have called me in the last day or so, it is possible that I did not receive your message (!!!).  Please send me an e-mail if you are reading!

Prepare yourself! You will be saying "awwww!" when you view this sneak peek of adorable Miss K. She was such an amiable little girl and I had an absolutely delightful time photographing her and chatting with mom M. I was also tickled because, after seeing the big black camera I was holding, K. gave lots of anticipatory blinks.  She was just sure that my flash was going to go off, but I think by the end she truly believed I was a natural light photographer and there would be no flashing lights. What a smart little girl!

I was so pleased to photograph beautiful Miss S. and her brand-new baby sister last week. Mom, Dad, and Grandmother were all completely smitten and it's easy to see why!  Here's a small sneak peek for K. It was lovely meeting you!

(and yes, still short on words and long on images here . . . my full holiday calendar just got crazier with the recent rains . . . the phrase delicate house of cards springs to mind!)
