MEMORY LANE

I was asked to pull some of my favorite images for a very exciting upcoming project (more on that soon!) and so I spent the evening going down memory lane.  Here are the ones that just begged to be included--and in chronological order no less (thanks, Bridge!).  What fun it was to remember each of these sessions.  The giggles, the tiny toes, the slightly off-key renditions of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."  So many wonderful little people--people in the making.  Thank you to each and every one! : )

FROM ONE BOY . . . TO THREE

This lovely family that I had the pleasure of photographing in 2007 has just grown exponentially. : )  It was such a treat to see mom, dad, and big brother D. again and meet the newest additions to the family.  Welcome to the world, F. and R.!  Here's a sneak peek for the D. family and this blog post does come with a warning--BABY FEVER RISK AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

A RELAXING TWO WEEKS . . . SORT OF.

Every winter, like many of my photographer friends, I take time to rejuvenate, get creative, and just plain exhale from the holiday exhaustion.  This year I vowed to take off completely and utterly between Christmsa and January 5th.  In a move not surprising to anyone who knows me . . . I went the other way. :)  I added on a last-minute hardcore business workshop in Nashville and so instead found myself finishing client galleries from December (that I was going to get to after the 5th), scrambling to get my financial records in tip-top shape, and heading to Nashville on the 6th for four days of managerial accounting, sales, and marketing chatter.  It was rejuvenating, in a way.  Just a very busy bee sort of way to "relax." :)

I did take a true break here and there, however, and managed to photograph all three of my children.

My oldest.

My middle child, who is already like me in so many ways. :)

And my youngest, who has doubled in size since December 1st. psst--if anyone knows how to get the youngest and oldest to be friends rather than play the hiss-and-dash game, I'm all ears!

A quick announcement just for photographers--a special offer will be heading out next week to those of you who inquired about workshops and consulting/mentoring opportunities.  If you are interested in adding your name to this list, just send me an e-mail this weekend!  Thank you!

I'll be meeting some special newborn twins this weekend, so the blog is sure to be filled with cuteness next week. See you then!
